What brought me here?

I'm truly honoured to share my unique story with you—a story that has shaped my life's work and the gifts I bring to every reading and mediumship session.

As a child, I experienced something extraordinary. A severe illness caused my heart to stop briefly, and in that moment, I found myself in a luminous realm filled with angels and spirits. It was a profound encounter that changed everything. Thanks to the intervention of a compassionate nurse neighbour, I was brought back to life, but I returned forever changed—with the ability to see and communicate with the spirit world, including the souls of those who had passed on.

Later, my family moved to a tranquil village surrounded by the beauty of nature. In the attic of our new home, I discovered an old box of Tarot cards. From the moment I touched them, I felt a powerful connection. It was as if they were meant to find me, and I began a lifelong journey of mastering their wisdom.

Over the years, my spiritual gifts have deepened and grown stronger.

Life led me to travel and live in incredible places—like the Netherlands, Germany, France, and South Africa—where I had the privilege of offering readings and connecting with people from all walks of life.

For the past twenty years, I’ve been blessed to call Ireland my home, a land whose spirit resonates deeply with my own.

My Grandfather and His Sister, Halina— 1941
This photograph of my grandfather and his sister Halina was taken in 1941 at the Buchcar Photography Studio on Chłodna 58 in Warsaw, Poland— one of the many portrait studios that documented everyday life during a time of extraordinary upheaval. The image captures a quiet moment just before my grandfather’s fate was meant to take a devastating turn.

Assigned for transport to Auschwitz, he stood on the platform among the others with only a pack of cigarettes in his pocket. In that moment, he relied on a blend of courage, intuition, and quick thinking to change the course of his life. He approached a guard and asked for permission to say goodbye to his mother — knowing she was not there. It was a deliberate act of desperation. The guard accepted the cigarettes, giving him the moment he needed. My grandfather slipped away, hid beneath the train and evaded the search that followed. Through this act of bravery he survived.

But his story is not only one of survival. He was an artist at heart — a gifted illustrator, a poet, a choir singer and a man whose sensitivity and creativity touched everyone around him. His spirit carried both the strength of endurance and the gentleness of an artistic soul.

This photo is a reminder of the resilience woven into my family line — the courage, intuition and quiet wisdom that shape who I am today. I honour his legacy through my own spiritual work, knowing that the gifts we carry often begin long before we are born.

Grandmother with my mum

Born in Warsaw, my Polish grandmother was a woman of great strength and kindness. Neighbours often came to her for advice, because she listened with an open heart. She told fortunes using ordinary playing cards, and her herbal remedies brought comfort to many who needed help.

During the war, she survived three German concentration camps. In one of them, she was forced to work making weapons, like many other prisoners. A German officer oversaw this work.  He noticed her quiet courage and at great personal risk, tried to protect her in small, hidden ways. He would leave pieces of bread for her inside a gap in the wall and cover it with a loose brick so only she could find it. These acts of humanity helped keep her alive.

When the camp was bombarded and the building collapsed, he acted without hesitation. Instead of fleeing, he gathered prisoners and ordered them to dig through the rubble. Thanks to his determination, several prisoners — including her — were pulled out alive. His compassion and defiance were later discovered, and he paid with his life.

My grandmother lived on — unbroken, unafraid and always willing to help others.

Here she is shown with my mum as a small girl.

I remember her as colourful and full of life: the soft scent of her perfume, her beautifully painted nails, the bright clothes she loved. And her laughter… warm, bright, filling the whole house. When she laughed, it felt as though all the darkness in the world simply disappeared.

What guides me in life and in my tarot practice is the courage and wisdom I inherited from my grandmother. She showed me that even in the darkest and most difficult circumstances, it is possible to move forward — one step at a time — and that love has the power to transform lives. Her example taught me that what is good and loving does not disappear when we are gone; it lives on in the care, kindness, and attention we offer to others.

My Parents as Children

This photograph shows my father as a small boy and my mother on her Holy Communion Day — two children living separate lives, completely unaware that fate would one day bring them together.

As a child, my father was very quiet and learned to speak much later than other children. On his birthday, a family friend who worked as a chauffeur picked him up and invited him to accompany him in his Warszawa as he drove to the garage. Cars were rare and considered a true luxury at the time, so this ride was meant as a small birthday gift — an unforgettable experience for the young boy. The garage was located in the old pre-war tenement building where my mother and other children lived and played.

Often, when the chauffeur returned from work, he would let the children sit in the car and drive the short five-meter distance to the garage — but only if they opened the large wooden gate for him. On this particular day, my father was with the chauffeur when the other children saw him. Misunderstanding his quiet nature, they decided to confront him and, as he ignored them, they wanted to beat him up. My mother, even as a young girl, stepped in with gentle intuition and convinced them not to, sensing that he was unable to speak.

These small, magical moments left lasting impressions on both my parents. Years later, fate brought them together. What began with fleeting childhood moments blossomed into a 50-year love story.

As a child, I saw magic in the smallest things: the crunch of autumn leaves beneath my feet, the swirl of pencil across paper, the rhythm of a secret dance no one else could follow. I loved collecting stones and various colourful pieces of glass, and my pockets were always full of magical stones that revealed their brilliance when dipped in a puddle. I even created my first “masterpiece” — a sand cake, carefully sculpted and adorned with leaves and twigs, baked in the sun-warmed sandpit — a joyful act of imagination and intent. That same sense of wonder still guides me today, allowing me to uncover hidden truths through the cards and connect with the spirit world.
